Sulla base degli obiettivi e della strategia individuata, il Polo ha coinvolto le aziende partner in diverse tipologie di progetti di ricerca e sviluppo sperimentale a livello regionale, nazionale e comunitario e di trasferimento tecnologico, già tutti conclusi.
In particolare, il Polo Automotive ha concluso 8 progetti di R&D a livello regionale (presentati nell’ambito del POR FERS 2007-2013 Regione Abruzzo), e altri 8 progetti, tra nazionali (Industria 2015 – Ministero Ambiente – Pon 2007-13) ed europei (FP7 – VII Programma Quadro), tramite il soggetto gestore IAM.
Il Polo ha attivato anche oltre 20 iniziative di trasferimento tecnologico verso i soci che mirano ad obiettivi di breve termine come ad esempio le analisi di fattibilità per l’applicazione di una certa tecnologia già disponibile ad un prodotto differente, il miglioramento della qualità od ottimizzazioni del processo dal punto di vista costi o sotto l’aspetto tecnico, anche tramite l’applicazione di metodologie adatte e all’avanguardia.

R&D as the road to new opportunities, the achievement of the network effect and growth. R&D as an asset for the Automotive Innovation Pole, its members and the companies as single entities.
Thanks to the close collaboration between the Pole, Universities and Research Centers, the Partners are fully involved in innovation processes as carried out by different actors in several areas. The potential of such a method is huge: experiences are enriched, perspectives widened and ideas are converted into new dimensions of development.
Nowadays, the Pole is overseeing 16 R&D Projects. 8 of them are R&D carried out within the framework of POR FERS 2007-2013 of Abruzzo Region; 4 projects are advanced under the “Industrial innovation programme” promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development (Energy and Sustainable Mobility). The other 4 projects meet the criteria of the “Seventh Framework Programme (Fp7) of European Union for Research & Innovation.
