Il Polo, attraverso il soggetto gestore IAM, partecipa a progetti europei avviati nell’ambito del VII Programma Quadro dell’Ue.

Si tratta di quattro progetti il cui obiettivo generale è di sviluppare innovazioni di processo e prodotto in linea e coerenti con i Piani di Ricerca & Innovazione previsti delle Piattaforme tecnologiche in Europa.

In generale, i progetti che vedono coinvolto il consorzio IAM (Innovazione Automotive Meccanica) mirano al miglioramento delle prestazioni con una contestuale riduzione dell’impatto sull’ambiente, in termini di costi, emissioni, efficienza energetica e tecnologie innovative.

The automotive chain defined a first list of hot issues which meet the objectives of “Seventh Framework Programme of European Union for Research & Innovation.

The projects will actively involve the automotive firms in the innovation processes:

  1. Professional environmentally friendly vehicles
  2. Molding and assembly technologies for low-cost vehicles 4 and 2 wheels
  3. Techniques and systems for monitoring, control and quality assurance in line of products
  4. Integrated development products and related manufacturing processes vs. the overall energy consumption and end of life
  5. New coating technologies and check techniques for treated surfaces of mechanical components (chassis) and bodywork
  6. Automotive Innovation Pole
